Baptism
“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV)
Since the very beginning of the church, thousands of years ago, baptism has been practiced in obedience to Jesus’s command.
It’s an important event in the life of every believer in Jesus and marks a public declaration of his or her faith. Identifying with Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection the follower of Jesus is baptized by immersion in water.
If you’ve trusted in Christ, attend our church and have not been baptized, and would like to know more information and maybe even speak with one of our pastors, please connect with us through via the form.
