Hands Quilters
We meet once a month from February to October to quilt at the church. We give our finished quilts to the Heart of Texas Pregnancy Center, The Refuge, Foster Care Village, anyone in the church who knows anyone with cancer, Bastrop Pregnancy Center, and our pastoral staff.
-You don’t need to know how to sew to start quilting with us
-You don’t need to own a sewing machine to start quilting with us.
-You don’t have to attend every meeting
-You don’t have to buy fabric for your quilts—we have fabric you can use. If you use our fabric we’d like you to donate the quilt you make to our recipients.
-After a few months, depending on availability, you can take one of our machines home with you as a loaner.
