Torri Baker
South Austin Campus Worship Leader
Torri Baker’s passion for music ignited at the tender age of three, as she harmonized alongside her mother, a revered gospel performer, and her sister. Growing up immersed in the sounds of gospel legends like The Winans, The Clark Sisters, and Rance Allen, Torri’s upbringing cultivated a deep love for crafting harmonies and delivering soul-stirring performances.
Recognizing music’s profound impact on her life early on, Torri pursued a career as a versatile vocalist, honing her talents in studio recordings, vocal arrangement, and Praise & Worship. She has lent her voice to various esteemed groups and organizations, solidifying her reputation as a sought-after lead vocalist for corporate events, weddings, and beyond. Among her career highlights are serving as a background vocalist for Grammy-nominated Ruthie Foster and performing at renowned venues like Austin City Limits.
Torri wants people to know that although she is a professional singer, she will always follow her calling as a worship minister. She believes there is a difference between a job and a calling, and she takes the latter very seriously.
