About GriefShare at Bannockburn South Austin

GriefShare is a Christ-centered program aimed at helping you find balance and emotional stability as you go through the healing process. While dealing with grief can be incredibly isolating, you’re not alone. Our program provides a safe space to connect with others who are experiencing similar struggles.

Healing Is a Journey

Every grief experience is unique, yet everyone goes through the same emotional roller coaster in their own way. Are you feeling angry, regretful, or stuck in a fog of depression? Understanding that there’s no “right way” to grieve is the first step toward healing. Your journey will take time, but our experienced support group can provide you with the resources and emotional support needed to navigate it.

The Importance of Taking Your Time

Grief is not a process that can be expedited or ignored. While societal pressure may urge you to “move on,” true healing demands that you fully experience your grief. With the aid of biblical principles and community support, we can help you find relief and emotional stability in a time when it feels unreachable.

Finding Community Support

A crucial element of healing is finding a supportive community. Our GriefShare program offers you a confidential and safe space to express yourself and find others who can help you through the grieving process. As counselor David Bueno Martin aptly puts it, “Healing happens in the context of finding others who can help you.”

If you’re in the Austin area and dealing with the loss of a loved one, consider joining our GriefShare program at Bannockburn Church South Austin. We’re here to support you through this challenging time, ensuring you don’t have to face your grief journey alone.

Join us Wednesday nights at our South Austin Campus. We look forward to walking this path with you, offering our support, resources, and a strong community to help you heal.
