40-Day Prayer Challenge

Dear Bannockburn members and friends,

Your Pastor Search Team wants to thank you for nominating and trusting them to accomplish the enormous task of discovering and finding the next man of God who will lead Bannockburn. We know God has already gone before us and has chosen and set apart this man. The secret to any successful enterprise is prayer, prayer, and more prayer. Bannockburn was founded in prayer. The Pastor Search Team cannot possibly undertake this task by themselves.

We want every Bannockburn member to come along and journey with us. Here is how you can journey with us as we seek God’s will through prayer. This process starts in prayer, is continuously bathed in prayer, and will end in prayer. We need your commitment to pray for us, our church, and our next pastor.

We are inviting you to join us in the 40-day prayer challenge! For 40 days, we will list weekly biblical points to pray for us, the church, the process, the future pastor, and any other way the Holy Spirit impresses upon your hearts. Every week, you will receive the weekly prayer points to pray without ceasing throughout this process.

Thank you for praying as we follow God’s lead, seek His wisdom and discernment, obey His word, and discover His perfect will.
